What you'll do

• Shape and evolve CodSpeed's brand identity: logo system, color palette, typography, illustration style, and visual language
• Create compelling visual assets for marketing: website pages, social media, conference materials, product announcements
• Design interfaces for visualizing complex performance data: flame graphs, call trees, trend analysis
• Build and maintain a cohesive design system that bridges brand and product, ensuring visual consistency across every touchpoint
• Create intuitive navigation and interaction patterns for large, nested data structures
• Work directly with engineers on implementation, using Figma as the primary design tool
• Talk to users and incorporate real feedback into the product

Requirements

• Strong graphic design fundamentals: typography, color theory, layout, composition
• Proven experience building or evolving a brand identity from the ground up
• Ability to design for technical products or data-heavy interfaces
• Mastery of Figma with strong experience building robust and scalable design systems (UI componentisation)
• Portfolio demonstrating both brand/visual identity work and technical UI work (dashboards, dev tools, data viz, or similar)
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration in an early-stage environment
• Experience shipping designs in collaboration with engineering teams
