Developers already find us. We post performance reports on open-source projects, engineers discover CodSpeed, adopt it on their own repos, and it spreads. That's how teams at large companies started using us before we ever reached out.
Now we want to own that motion instead of watching it happen. This is the first dedicated GTM hire. You'll build the playbook from scratch: how we find the right developers, engage them, and turn them into champions inside the companies we want to land.
What you'll do
- Own top of funnel end to end: sourcing, qualification, discovery. You generate meetings, the method is up to you
- Turn product usage into pipeline. Spot the users and teams already getting value and engage them at the right moment
- Run a champion-led motion. Find the developer who already loves CodSpeed, arm them with what they need, and help them bring it to their team
- Start manual, then automate. Learn what converts by hand, then build the flow once a pattern works
- Use content and events to build awareness. Give value before asking for anything
- Build our outbound engine: find and create buying signals across the developer community, then run targeted, personal outreach
- Run demos when needed and learn the product well enough to hold your own in front of engineers
Requirements
- A fast learner who can get technical enough to pitch developers and engineering leaders credibly
- Resourceful above everything. You'll do manual grunt work one day and build automation the next, and you're happy doing both
- Early in your career, hungry, and want huge scope with little defined. This role is broad on purpose
- Creative. You find angles other people miss. We can teach structure. We can't teach this
- Comfortable with a phase where not every meeting is perfectly qualified. We trade some noise for speed and learning
